Jool은 영어 문학을 어떻게 가르치나요?
Jool에서 영어 문학은 가장 중요한 수업입니다. 독서, 작문, 그리고 문학에 대한 깊이 있는 이해는 아이들에게 필수적입니다.
다음은 우리의 특별한 방식입니다:
우리는 한 달에 12권의 책을 읽으며, 학교보다 23년 앞서 나갑니다. 수업은 1:1 또는 매우 소규모 그룹으로 진행되며, 수업의 매 순간을 믿을 수 없을 정도로 생산적으로 활용합니다. 이제 더 이상 모든 아이들이 가방에서 책을 꺼낼 때까지 기다리는 시간은 없습니다.
우리는 수업을 창의적이고 학문적으로 만들어 책에 담긴 교훈을 풀어냅니다. 아이들은 아이들입니다. 그래서 우리는 수업을 창의적이고 실제로 흥미롭게 만들어 교훈을 생생하게 전달하려고 합니다. 지루한 문학 수업에서는 배움이 많지 않다는 것을 잘 알고 있습니다.
우리의 우선순위는 책을 깊이 이해하는 것입니다. 이야기의 내용이 무엇인지 아는 것도 중요하지만, 학문적인 주제와 더 깊은 의미를 아는 것이 우리의 목표입니다.
