This post is on behalf of Logan - he has read 16 of those books (but that is because he is a Jool Literature Student).
The Nothing to See Here Hotel is the best because it is has vampires and monsters living in the hotel and that sounds interesting. I don't exactly like the illustrations (although the troll is brilliant and the diamond or ruby teeth are also great). I think the book with the best illustrations is The Legend of Kevin because the unicorn is kind of round and likes biscuits and also because it's the most interesting unicorn in the whole entire universe!
Jayden hasn't read any of the grade 7 books, but he prefers non-fiction, such as science books.
Non-fiction books are easier to comprehend and it's easier to relax while reading. The last book I read was about and atoms and reading the facts made me feel 'wow' and amazement, James I think you should add some non-fiction books because it can boost children's knowledge and can also help them think more knowledgeably.
I am sorry to say that Roy and Jenny have only read two of the books from grade 5! Roy did read Hello Universe, and Flipped. Jenny read Warrrior Cat books for the entire year - she claims to have read all 42!!!! So not completely hopeless at reading! They laughed pitiously at the fact I have only read two books this year!
I read ALL the way to 3grade books!!!🙄
I have actually read all of the books. They are all decent, but Level Up is easily my favorite.
